About

Since discovering an affinity for working with others around dying and death in 2012, I’ve dedicated myself to expanding my knowledge and practice to offer compassionate and practical support. My training includes a certificate in Death Midwifery from Olivia Bareham in 2019 and a certificate in Community Deathcare from Anne-Marie Keppel’s Village Deathcare Citizen Training in 2021. I’ve further grounded my work through my membership with NEDA, and through my service as a board member emeritus of the National Home Funeral Alliance, advocating for inclusive and accessible community-led deathcare. As a multifaceted and highly sensitive person, a Buddhist and a Reiki practitioner, I bring intuition, curiosity, gentle guidance, and administrative acumen to my role as a death and dying companion, always exploring creativity as a connection to the unknown. My belief is that contemplating our own death must also include considering the systemic inequities within deathcare and society; therefore, I offer my services—which include deathtending groups for end-of-life preparations, one-on-one death doula work, home or community-led funeral support, and public talks—for the justice and liberation of all beings. I honor the diverse ways people die and the many choices they make without holding to a single definition of a “good” death. I look forward to walking this path with you.
