Amanda Fauske
About
I have been a nurse for 14 years, working in spaces including inpatient palliative care and hospice. I recognize the need for supporting for clinicians (providers, nurses, etc.) who are providing care at the bedside for individuals who are recognizing their own mortality and/or are at the end of their life.
As a death doula and death educator, I provide presentations and “shadow work” opportunities for clinicians, as well as anyone contemplating their own mortality and the people within that support group. Additional services offered:
Affairs Readiness — a service that goes beyond the advance directive. This includes assistance with gathering/organizing important documents, recording account information, passwords, and digital assets, clarifying wishes for pets, dependents, and personal belongings, etc.
Affairs Closure (after death), assisting families with the often overwhelming tasks that follow loss, such as: closing or transferring accounts, contacting Social Security and other agencies, cancelling subscriptions and insurance policies, etc.
Legacy work — capturing stories, values, rituals, and the essence of a person’s life. This may include life review, written reflections, family lore, or intentional messages for loved ones.
Reiki and integrative energy support are available upon request.
