Being present those minutes after death is a gift to me and those who are present with their loved one. It is the beginning of their journey -less the burden of the physical body. I want to be at the bedside and be alive to the exquisite experience in the room as they transition. I want the family to feel supported and to be in the magic of that moment.
I completed the EOL Certification at The University of Vermont. I have demonstrated knowledge and skills in providing emotional, physical and educational support to families.
I will serve my families in whatever ways possible to support them.
I am a retired counselor and educator. I enjoy cooking, distance running, volunteering in hospice settings and also community work
