Death has been a part of my life since I was young. I experienced profound loss early on, and somewhere along the way I realized I wasn’t afraid of it — I was drawn to it. I’ve always had a deep love for elders, and over the years I’ve had the honor of sitting with many people as they transitioned, offering a calm and steady presence when it mattered most.
I’m Anissa, an end-of-life doula based in Charlotte, NC. I support individuals and families with vigil presence, advance care planning, legacy work, and grief support — showing up with an open heart to make sure no one walks this passage alone.
