I am a private practice death doula and a grief coach. After completing my basic EOL training I completed courses with Sarah Kerr, Alua Arthur and Patty Burgess. Learning is life long for a doula! I carry Aid-in-Dying training from the American Clinicians Academy on Medical Aid in Dying. Before any of this, I lived aboard a sailboat for six years, which taught me about surrendering control and living life to the fullest.

Today I walk alongside families through the planning and the care-partnering and the tender hours near the end. I also train the next wave of doulas through Compass Doula Academy, my cohort-based program for people ready to sit with the dying and the grieving. We cover the practical and the sacred. The forms and the bedside. We do it in community and hold each other in partnership.

I also run the Profitable Pathways Business Accelerator with Patty Burgess, supporting doulas who want to build practices that can actually hold them. This part matters to me. A doula who cannot pay their bills will not be able to keep showing up.

To build community and educate for free I host the podcast Dying to Ask, where we talk plainly about the questions most of us carry in silence. I also lead a local Death Cafe, because death belongs out loud, at the table, with good coffee.
