About
20 years of experience in social work, most recently at a Continued Care Retirement Community where I assisted with resources and transitions (hospital, independent living to assisted living/memory care, hiring a caregiver). It was there I saw the gaps in services at end of life. I feel so fortunate to be a part of this doula movement in Whatcom County, WA state! I am passionate about educating people of their rights and choices and bringing this sacred work to the home setting. I help people plan their wishes ideally far in advance, having particular focus on reaching younger generations and marginalized groups especially Queer or childless. My offerings include: “Done in 1” Healthcare Directive, Doula work (legacy, logistics, death plan, bedside vigil which includes song, light massage, and breathwork), and Death decluttering. I’m also currently a volunteer at Hospice and Threshold Choir. My website is Life’s Fleeting Nature: www.lifesfleetingnature.com
