About
Brenna — End-of-Life Doula, Miami
I support people through dying, death, and grief as a non-medical companion. I work within hospice teams and also offer independent doula services.
What I do:
– Sit with people in hard moments and talk plainly about what’s happening
– Help people understand what to expect and what choices exist
– Support advance care planning
– Facilitate legacy and remembrance projects
– Coordinate with medical teams, family, and others already involved in care
Dying today is rarely simple. I don’t pretend otherwise, nor romanticize the complicated process.
Before this work, I spent fifteen years in film production, walking into a room mid-crisis and figuring out fast what needs doing. That honed instinct is still the task at hand today: pay attention, stay present, do the practical thing, and leave room for both grief and humor.
I aim to contribute to a death-care culture that’s honest about complexity, doesn’t erase the people already doing this labor, and gives people back some agency in how they die.
