About

Luna Wildflower is a certified death doula, artist, educator, and facilitator who offers compassionate, personalized support to people approaching the end of life and to the loved ones walking beside them. She recognizes how tender, vulnerable, and deeply human this time can be, and approaches each person and family with care, presence, creativity, and respect. Her work includes end-of-life planning, legacy projects, vigil support, memorial and celebration-of-life planning, and other forms of personalized support for individuals and loved ones before and after a death.

Luna brings over 15 years of experience as a college professor and Communication Studies scholar. Grounded in the study of human interaction, her academic work spans interpersonal communication, public speaking, group communication, and facilitation. This background shapes the way she supports difficult conversations, helps individuals communicate their wishes, and assists loved ones with eulogies, tributes, and meaningful remembrance.

Her work as an artist and her extensive experience in event planning and community-centered programming also shape her approach to ceremony. She is especially drawn to the details that make an experience feel personal: stories, rituals, music, objects, imagery, words, and the small touches that reflect who someone truly was. As a certified yoga instructor with training in embodiment and trauma-informed practices, Luna brings an awareness of the body, nervous system, grounding, and presence into her work. She has also volunteered in hospice care.

At the heart of Luna’s practice is the belief that end of life deserves tenderness, dignity, creativity, and intention. She is committed to helping people feel seen, supported, and cared for while honoring the fullness of a life: how someone lived, loved, connected, created, and mattered.
