About

Liz Freedman’s mission is to normalize conversations around grief, death, and dying – helping people approach life’s hardest transitions with compassion and curiosity. She is currently earning an End of Life Doula Certification, specializing in advanced care planning. Liz volunteers with Hospice of Michigan as a bedside companion and grief group facilitator, and she also writes and facilitates walking tours in Ada Cemetery on behalf of the Ada Historical Society. Liz provides community-based grief education, support, and deathcare services in Ada where she lives with her husband, nine-year-old twin daughters, and their boxer, Potato.
