About

Being a Death Doula is a continuous learning experience. It’s akin to carrying a toolbox with tools that you know how to use, and adding new tools for situations that you’ve never come across before, in your life. I’m honest and upfront with my clients. I’m always willing to try something new and will run with it. If it works, I’ll add it to my repertoire. If it doesn’t, we may take it apart and pick out the pieces we do like. As a team. I work for the dying, but I’m also there for the family. I’m glad my industry is not regulated, because this allows me to work between the highly skilled regulated medical personnel, therapist, grief counselors, lawyers etc.

let’s go over what I am:

a trained, non-clinical professional who provides emotional and spiritual support to dying individuals and their families. I act as a guide through the dying process, helping my clients and their loved ones make informed choices and live the remaining time with purpose and companionship.
