Erika Lim
About
Erika Lim is a death doula and occupational therapist. She works to bridge the communication gap between generations and cultures of loved ones regarding life and death and makes space for our humanness to emerge in this most natural process.
Erika completed her Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2018 and became a certified death midwife from Sacred Crossings Institute for Conscious Dying in 2020. She completed the Ablon/Hilot Filipino Healing Arts Program at the Kailukuan School of Indigenous Science and utilizes this intuitive knowledge and wisdom in supporting those in her community and her work, specifically in grief. Erika completed her EOL Doula training and has been with an educator with INELDA since 2024.
Erika has been invited to speak on various podcasts including Sacred Femme Alchemy, 20 Minutes of Darkness, Emily Talks To, and Late Thoughts. She’s also given talks to the Caregiver and Filipino groups at Google on the subject “Talking to Your Parents About Death”. She has a newsletter called “Die Laugh Love” where she offers information and thoughts about living, death, and dying that most are curious but many don’t take the time to explore. There is no wrong time to contact Erika so if you are curious about what this work entails, please be in touch.
