Evonne Biggs is a Threshold Agent and the founder of Threshold & Root, a holistic practice devoted to guiding individuals, families, and communities through life’s most sacred transitions. She understands the threshold between life and death as more than a clinical event, as it is a relational, spiritual, and communal passage that invites meaning-making, dignity, and connection across generations.

With over a decade of experience in public health, complex care program management, and community-based services at the intersection of healthcare and homelessness, Evonne brings a systems-informed, justice-centered, and humanistic lens to her work. She has led large scale initiatives, built programs from the ground up, and supported individuals and groups navigating vulnerability with care that is both practical and humane.

As a Threshold Agent, Evonne offers steady presence, emotional and spiritual support, legacy exploration, and strategic guidance before death, while also tending to the sacred responsibilities that follow. Her work includes after-death care in a dignified manner, holding space for vigil, honoring the body, and supporting loved ones through immediate transitions with reverence, cultural humility, and intention.

Through Threshold & Root, Evonne integrates end-of-life care with holistic leadership and transformational coaching, creating space for clients who seek both grounded support and an expansive, intuitive, and unconventional approach to transition. Her work honors cultural traditions, personal beliefs, and the unseen dimensions of care. She is capable of holding space for what must be felt.
