I lost my Mom when I was 10 years old, so experiencing death came at a young age. I cared for my father when he was dying and learned a lot about what a wonderful place Hospice is. Recently, I have assisted four different clients before they passed. That came about accidentally because I am a Mobile Notary. Most of my clients are elderly so when I do meet them to notarize a document, they hire me because they are in need of care. I have assisted with paperwork, grocery shopping, laundry, picking up medication, doctor appointments (making the appointment as well as accompanying them to the doctor to help remind them what was said), companionship, etc. I get a wonderful sense of satisfaction assisting others in their time of need.
