Tanyelle L. Hannah
About
My name is Tanyelle L. Hannah, and I believe one of the greatest gifts we can offer another human being is presence.
Throughout my life, I have been drawn to people during seasons of transition—moments of joy, uncertainty, grief, healing, and transformation. As an educator, leader, mother, and community advocate, I have spent decades creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and cared for. End-of-life work is a natural extension of that calling.
As an End-of-Life Doula, I provide compassionate, nonjudgmental support to individuals and families navigating the final chapter of life. My approach is grounded in dignity, deep listening, and honoring each person’s unique journey. Whether offering emotional support, helping facilitate meaningful conversations, creating legacy projects, sitting in quiet companionship, or supporting loved ones through anticipatory grief, I believe no one should have to walk this path alone.
My own experiences with loss have taught me that grief and love often share the same space. Those experiences have deepened my commitment to helping others find peace, connection, and meaning during life’s most sacred transitions.
I strive to meet people exactly where they are—with warmth, honesty, and compassion. My role is not to lead the journey, but to walk alongside those I serve, helping create a space where individuals and families can focus on what matters most: connection, comfort, and love.
It is an honor to accompany people through this sacred season of life.
With care,
Tanyelle L. Hannah
