Hello, my name is Holden Fleenor, and I am a Certified Death Doula based in Greenwood, Indiana. I am also trained in Grief Coaching and Death Coaching. I am an award-winning hospice volunteer and remain actively engaged in my volunteer work. I also work with the American Cancer Society, holding support roles in the mental health field, including Certified Peer Support Professional, Mental Health and Wellness Coach, and Active Listener. I have extensive professional training and shared life experiences that enhance my support, having gained a deeper level of empathy, understanding, and knowledge. As a Certified End-of-Life Planner, I am passionate about helping people complete their Advanced Care Directives, creating comfort and ease. I can also help fill out the 5 Wishes care plan, which is not a legal document on its own in every state, but makes a fantastic supplement to your ACD. People I work with have described my presence as uplifting. I bring with me compassion, grace, empathy, and a smile for anyone who needs it. I have experienced significant loss and grief in my personal life, and I am stronger and highly driven because of it. I always work to create a peaceful environment and help others experience a “good death”, whatever a “good death” means to you, to the best of my abilities. I have put thought and consideration into helping plan a vigil and will be present if it is requested of me. I am experienced in supporting anyone who struggles with death anxiety at any point in their lives. I am a gentle companion, happy to be there for anyone who needs someone to listen to them with empathy and understanding. I also offer support in planning at any stage of the transition, and for anyone at any stage of life. I am a Christian and if you would appreciate support from a Christ-centered perspective I am here. But, ALL ARE WELCOME of any walk in life and faith.
