Holden Fleenor
About
My name is Holden, and I am a Certified Death Doula living on the south side of Indianapolis. I’m passionate about supporting people facing the end of life, as well as their families and caregivers. I offer a comforting presence with empathy and understanding. I know what it’s like to lose someone you love very much. I am skilled at combating death anxiety and planning end-of-life care matters, including Advance Care Directives. I am happy to provide companionship for your loved one and to lend a listening ear to anyone struggling. I am a Christian and an active member of an Episcopal Church in Indianapolis for anyone who would prefer a Christian approach to end-of-life support. However, my services are open to everyone. I’m also here for anyone in the LGBT community, to which I myself belong. I am an award-winning hospice volunteer and have volunteered with a local hospice for a couple of years now. With hospice, I provide companionship, perform vigils, provide bereavement support, and I also do office admin work. The end of life can be a very stressful time, but with my help, we can hopefully find ways to make things less stressful and allow more quality time. I don’t have a formally organized LLC and don’t charge for my services. I will accept donations if you feel it is earned and would allow me to continue doing this work at no cost. I also do not provide any clinical services. I do not have that training. I do this on my own because it’s what I’ve been called to do. I have a comforting presence, a good sense of humor, and am very dedicated to this work. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Peace be with you.
