I am a writer, traveler, artist, and doula. My idea for life is to foster expansive ideas and bring them into life. I attend to both births and deaths and food sovereignty in between. I feel that my work is not just full circle, but a dedication to our infinite potential when we come together as a community. In my practice, I work in the beginning stages of mortality by running workshops and speaking engagements, both meant to increase awareness, provide education, and pre-emptively support with resource location and development. I also offer assistance with estate cleaning, decluttering to prepare to care for a loved one. I offer companionship care, caregiver respite, and vigil services. I work with those who are dying to memorialize their lives and their families to build ceremony and tribute to their beloveds. In final, I work on an advocacy level to promote more environmentally friendly deathcare options in Michigan. It is my dream to own and operate a conservation burial forest in the thick and serene beauty of the Michigan woods.
