About

Hello, my name is Lily, and I believe that the final chapter of life is a sacred journey that deserves to be met with dignity, presence, and a gentle heart. My path to this work was paved by a deep, innate desire to help others navigate life’s most difficult transitions. After personally caring for loved ones through illness and having the profound honor of witnessing their final breath, I realized my calling: to provide a “Comforting Journey” to individuals and their families, and to be a steady source of comfort during the end-of-life process.

I bring a non-medical approach to my work, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Family Science and Human Development (with a minor in Psychology) from Montclair State University. This background helps me understand the complex dynamics families face during a crisis. Beyond my degree, I have spent meaningful time facilitating grief groups for both children and adults and serve as a dedicated volunteer at my local community hospice.

I provide a wide range of non-medical support tailored to your unique needs:
Companion Doula Services: Friendly visits focused on connection—playing games, doing puzzles, or reading aloud.
Practical Assistance: Respite for caregivers, light household support, vigil support
Legacy & Planning: Helping to organize memories, facilitate open conversations about end-of-life wishes, and navigate the emotional weight of advance directives.

I am proud to offer bilingual support in both English and Spanish, providing compassionate care and clear communication for Spanish-speaking families to ensure their cultural and emotional needs are fully met. I am a present, caring, and empathetic guide for those in the Sussex and Morris County areas, and I invite you to reach out for a conversation to see how I can best support your unique journey.
