About

I am an ASL interpreter and owner of Interpreting Solutions, Inc. I have taken “The Dying Year” training by Merilynne Rush and her team and am now enrolled at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in a Death and Dying class. I have had the privilege of accompanying precious friends and their families on their end of life journeys and find myself feeling called to do this work in greater capacity.

I look forward to embarking on this as a new career path, offering my services in particular to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities as well as working with people with developmental disabilities. I endeavor to educate people about death and the importance of talking about it regardless of their health/wellness status and helping to remove the taboos and discomfort in discussing death and dying.

I want to work with people on:
advocacy to help them live their best lives and make informed choices
advanced care planning
legacy work
vigil sitting
respite for families
