About
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in Tacoma, Washington. I have my degree in clinical counseling from City University, Seattle. I have worked in many facets supporting individuals and families in processing, and working through grief. This journey is one we all will face, either in the death of someone or something in our lives, such as pets, or our own individual death. I am realstic and empathetic in my therapeutic approach. I know to meet my clients where they are and hold the space they need in that moment of time. I have worked with individuals diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease, as well as their famiies as they learn healthy coping through the acceptance of this disease. I have experience with the death of a child and how to navigate moving forward; voluneering for Bridges at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. I have experience with sudden, traumatic death and complicated grief. I have worked with clients who have lost some to suicide, as well as those contemplating suicide as well, as well as many other situations and scenarios. I offer end-of-life care by utilizing talk therapy, providing professional counseling modalities. I can provide assitance in legacy work, hospice support, respite care and family therapy.
