End-of-Life Doula
Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, USA

About

My end-of-life doula practice serves Milwaukee and surrounding counties. Walking the end of life passage with my own loved ones brought me to this sacred work. Those we love need to feel safe, comortable and cared for as they approach death. Each situation is unique, requiring support and assistance tailored to their specific desires and needs. This includes the needs of their families, whether near or far away. In addition to my doula training, my background is primarily as a mental health therapist, with additional training as a family mediator. I have years of experience as a college educator and trainer.of allied professionals. As a hospice volunteer, I support those nearing end of life and their families. My doula work is based in ethical practice and does not discriminate. It involves commprehensive end-of-life pre-planning, even when death is not imminent. It may include: help is document completion; assistance in processing emotions and life review, legacy work, death bed wishes and rituals, pre-and post-death gatherings, body disposition wishes, grief and bereavement counseling, family support and mediation, plus final hours vigils. I can be a caring support and presence when family members live far away. I work with and respect the spiritual lives of my clients.
