About
Kim Stravers is a certified death doula, death midwife, and funeral celebrant; a NEDA-proficient after-death care educator and death doula; a qualified home-funeral guide; a volunteer hospice doula and grief-support facilitator; a former funeral attendant; and an educator for one of the country’s longest-running and largest end-of-life doula training programs as well as for local and regional communities. She has been accompanying the dying and their loved ones through her private practice, Night Rose Deathcare, since 2020, maintains active relationships with several community wellness organizations, has completed several psychedelic facilitation programs, and is responsible for stewardship of the Arizona Funeral Resources and Education website, which provides comprehensive information about end-of-life options legally available to Arizona residents. She has been a guest speaker-educator on death and dying for the Arizona Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) Consortium, the University of New Mexico, the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, Benedictine University, and Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Kim has been featured in pieces published by Phoenix magazine, Oprah Daily, and other media outlets.
