This work is led by Kirby, whose entire career has been dedicated to people, inclusion, and supportive care. With a foundation in public health non-profits, advocacy, and legacy giving, and a creative pathway in writing and facilitation, Kirby brings a unique and deeply humanistic approach to end-of-life support. She is a member of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA) and received her foundational education from the University of Vermont’s End-of-Life Doula certification program. Kirby’s practice is driven by a dual passion: providing compassionate, individual support and fostering the broader systems change needed to make holistic death and dying care accessible to all.
