Kristen is the founder of Sacred Journey Death Doula, which centers connection, compassion, reverence, and joy to honor your life’s journey and help you explore your relationship with mortality. She brings multicultural understanding and respect for different religious beliefs to her work as a death doula and end of life planner, influenced by her service with the Peace Corps in Niger and time working in 25 countries. Kristen provides comprehensive support for clients on their final journey. She also hosts workshops that connect people with the seasons of nature, the seasons of our lives, grief, and mortality while centering wonder. She’s based in Northern Virginia, and serves clients in Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, and Loudon as well as through virtual workshops. Kristen is a certified death doula and end of life planner through Going with Grace. In addition, she earned an online death doula certificate from the IAP Career College.
