I’m a Pediatric End-of-Life Doula in Los Angeles. I was born and raised in Germany and lived a nomadic life – Germany, Italy, France, USA, UAE – until four losses in my closest circle reordered everything. I left a career as Director of Marketing and Operations, started volunteering in pediatric hospice, and trained to sit with dying children and their families.

The work is quiet and practical. Apart from my regular doula work, I offer Reiki, Legacy Art and End-of-Life Reiki, a wordless heart-to-heart I developed for parents who can’t bring themselves to say goodbye out loud. I don’t arrive with answers. My job is to witness.

Through Rainbowbridge Reiki, I bring the same care to animals at the end of life, supporting pets and the people who love them through their final days.

I host the podcast Learning to Say Goodbye, about life, death and spirituality, where I talk with clinicians, spiritual teachers, scientists, and people who have walked through loss. My memoir of the same name – a National Indie Excellence Awards finalist – traces the road from grieving skeptic to the bedsides of dying children, including the inner critic who has narrated my life since childhood and the signs I spent years refusing to believe.

I live in Los Angeles with my husband, two daughters, and two dogs.
