Michael Callaghan
About
Michael Callaghan has worked with the chronically ill and those in end-of-life journeys for over 35 years. He has been a companion with those facing end of life decisions and their families in a variety of settings, including, hospice, nursing homes and parish-based communities. He holds a B.A. from Loyola University of Maryland and completed his S.T.B. and M. Div. from St. Mary’s Seminary University in Baltimore Maryland. He also holds a Master of Non-Profit Administration from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame and is a priest of the Reformed Catholic Church. Michael completed his End-of-Life Doula Certification through the University of Vermont in 2025 and journeys with people from planning through their end-of-life transition and final disposition. He also provides post death grief support for loved ones and supports their ongoing connection to community resources. Coastal Light is a duly registered and licensed practice in the State of Delaware.
