I’m Margarita Llinet, a Puerto Rican end of life doula based in West Haven, Connecticut. I completed INELDA’s Extended End of Life Doula Training and continue to build a practice rooted in the way I was raised to care for people.
Through Atabey Obsidiana, I offer non medical end of life planning, companionship, and support to individuals and families across the Greater New Haven area. My approach is grounded in Caribbean cultural traditions, presence, and the belief that no one should have to navigate death or dying alone.
My work centers BIPOC communities and is affirming of LGBTQ+ individuals, chosen family, and non traditional support systems. I also host La Mesa, a monthly space for open and honest conversations about death, grief, and what it means to be held in community.
