I’m Margarita Llinet, a Puerto Rican end of life doula, herbalist, and curandera based in West Haven, Connecticut. I completed INELDA’s Extended End of Life Doula Training and build my practice the way I was raised to care for people, with presence, plants, and deep roots in Puerto Rican folk healing and spiritual tradition.
Through Atabey Obsidiana, I offer non-medical end of life planning, companionship, and support to individuals and families across the Greater New Haven area. I show up as a steady, unhurried presence at home, at bedside, wherever someone needs to be held through the threshold.
My work centers BIPOC communities and is affirming of LGBTQ+ individuals, chosen family, and non-traditional support systems. I also host workshops that encourage honest, culturally grounded conversations about death and dying.
