About
I’m a Death Doula, a trained and certified Interfaith Spiritual Director, a certified Grief Support Specialist, an End-of-Life-Doula Mentor, a Ritualist / Celebrant, Aromatherapist, Pet Doula, and an Angel Artist / Ceramicist. I practice full-spectrum end of life work, from pre-planning through bereavement, specialize in VSED cases, in-person and virtually, and in legacy work using clay with clients and their families.
After eight years of mentoring Death Doulas in volunteer programs and one-on-one in the Twin Cities, I co-launched an in-person Death Doula Training venture, From Seeds to Service, with Jane Whitlock, also a Death Doula in the Twin Cities. Our focus is on Death Education, Mentorship, and Public Speaking.
I am also a co-founder of the Minnesota Death Collaborative, and have presented / participated in end of life / death-relative discussions both nationally and internationally.
I live in Minneapolis with my spouse and our Great Dane, Frances, who is a retired therapy dog.
