Elder & Wiser is a unique service focused on helping families while dealing with the challenges of caring for their aging loved ones. Our elder care advisory service provides social workers & care managers to work with you one on one in all situations. We believe in taking a holistic approach when working with families. We are able to assist as a healthcare advocate (education on diagnoses or attending doctor appointments), reviewing legal documentation (ensuring you have the proper documentation in place), assessing your financial situation (managing your assets or assisting with Medicaid planning if needed), and discussing your social situation (do you need a caregiver to reside at home or placement in a facility?). We are available to our families 24/7, realizing that life’s events don’t always happen during “normal business hours”.
