About

Neidra is the Founder and Lead Practitioner of Balance For Life And Death and also of the End Of Life Doulas Of The Triangle (NC, 2018) as well as a founding member of the North Carolina Piedmont Community Death Care group. She is a trained End Of Life Doula (2018) who is NEDA proficient, Certified Grief Educator trained by David Kessler (2021), Certified Grief Movement Guide (2023), private Grief Coach/Mentor, Advance Care Planning Facilitator, Home Funeral Guide (2020) and is the Hillsborough NC Death Café Founder (2018) and Facilitator. Neidra is a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader (2015), an Ordained Celebrant for all people (2010), a Certified Foot Reflexologist (1996), and Reiki Practitioner (2006). She is an advocate for conscious living, dying and grieving, green burial and body disposition, and self-empowerment in individuals’ healthcare decisions. Her personal death experiences include, amongst many, guiding her mother through VSED and her partners’ deaths (cancer, suicide).
