About

I am Nicole Hutto, RN, and I bring more than 30 years of nursing experience to my work in end-of-life care. I began my career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, spending 22 years in long-term care before transitioning to hospice nearly eight years ago. In August 2025, I reached an important milestone by earning my Registered Nurse license and stepping into my role as a Registered Nurse Care Manager (RNCM).
Living in the Pacific Northwest, I am deeply inspired by both the natural beauty around me and the meaningful connections I build with my patients and their families. My personal journey has also shaped who I am as a nurse. I was widowed in 2023 after 30 years of marriage, and in August 2025, I began a new chapter in my life when I remarried. I am also the proud mother of three sons, and family is at the center of everything I do.
For the past six years, I have felt called to expand my work by becoming a death doula. I am passionate about continuing to grow and finding new ways to offer emotional, spiritual, and holistic support to those I serve. My goal is to walk alongside patients and families with compassion, presence, and respect, honoring each individual’s end-of-life journey with dignity and care.
Outside of my professional role, I am committed to serving my community. My husband and I organize and run a monthly community feed and volunteer weekly at my local food bank, finding purpose in giving back and supporting those in need.
