About

I received my CNA (certified nursing assistant) license in high school and started working at a local hospital once I graduated in 2012. I started on an Oncology unit where I worked with cancer and surgical patients. I worked alongside the medical team to provide comfort/ hospice care to terminally ill patients.

Since then, I have worked in many different medical settings including hospitals and long-term care facilities with all types of patients all over the country. I am current with non-violent crisis prevention training and licensed in Colorado as a CNA. I received my Death Doula and Conscious Dying Coach certificates in 2022 from The Conscious Dying Institute. I am also a member of The National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA). I currently reside in Denver, CO where I still work at my first hospital as a PRN float pool CNA.

Since my first day on the oncology unit, I have been drawn to hospice care and the appreciation for life and death. It is my belief that no one should die alone, and I make that a priority with all my patients. My goal is to educate clients and their family about the dying process and to help people plan a better death through conversation, planning, and reflection.
