Red Thread is a death care and mortality work practice dedicated to shifting how we relate to aging, dying and death, supporting others navigating these transitions and growing compassionate care communities through grief and end of life literacy.

Offering death doula services, mortality meditation and pop-up third places, the red thread approach is conversational, contemplative and creative, a stable space from which to seek and stay curious: how do we honor and express what it means and how it feels to be alive? when we consider our impermanence, what becomes clear in the noticing, knotted in the unraveling? what still and always connects us? what weaves through our lives and holds it all together?

Nicole Faust is a death worker, griever and helper based in Chicago. she works with humans, animals and families navigating end of life. in cooperation with fellow death workers, she creates conversation and community connection around death, loss, remembrance and change.
