Apprenticeship With Death is a comprehensive 6-month End of Life Doula training for those ready to explore their personal relationship with death while learning to serve others professionally. This holistic program goes beyond basic doula skills to develop compassionate practitioners equipped for the sacred work of end-of-life care. The training combines a private portal with comprehensive coursework, live experiential learning, spiritual integration, mentorship, and a 15-hour volunteer practicum providing hands-on experience at the bedside.

Led by Rhea Mader, Certified Thanatologist and founder of Center for Conscious Living Conscious Dying, this trauma-informed approach honors both the practical and sacred aspects of dying, rooted in lived experience as a bereaved mother, hospital and long-term care chaplain, and meditation and yoga Nidra guide.
