I have been cultivating a relationship with death and grief for as long as I can remember. From the womb to my thirties, I have sat close with death, feeling her as a friend that lives inside my body. I have learned how to commune with death in ways that feel holy and ordinary. Death is a part of my daily experience, it is my friend and guide. My fear has grown into respect, and death has become my greatest muse. I am a trained death doula, bereavement facilitator, and social worker. My work focuses on aging and dying, children’s grief, spiritual support, and everyday loss.
