About

I grew up overseas in cultures where death was openly acknowledged, grief was expressed, and life was celebrated even in loss. My first encounter with death in the U.S. felt cold and distant, and left me curious about how we accompany one another. I developed a lasting interest in thanatology, studying how cultures honour transition to the afterlife – and wondering how we can be more intentional about addressing this too.

I hold a PhD in Social Work and spent over a decade as a clinical social worker, though I do not provide clinical services in this role. My background in trauma-informed care and humanitarian efforts have made me deeply aware of the precariousness of life and the ways people carry love and memory through profound loss, which inevitably shapes the presence I offer. Beyond this, I am trained in Akashic record reading, spiritual healing, and earth-honouring practices rooted in Andean cosmology, which I weave in when welcomed. Training in integrative medicine and neurobiology further grounds my approach – providing a holistic understanding of physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of dying.

My path into death work clarified when I was with my grandmother during her transition. That experience ignited my desire to help others experience supported and meaningful endings on their own terms. Currently, I focus on pre- and post-planning by assisting with end-of-life preparation and conscious decision making, ritual design, legacy creation, and supporting families in carrying out the wishes of their loved one. I can also help with memorialization practices that honour memory and meaning. Whether with individuals, families, or communities, I seek to create moments of ritual and reverence that honor transition and sustain memory.

Death is not an ending, just a transition. I am grateful to walk with you for this part of your journey.
