My name is Salem (he/they), and I am an end-of-life doula located in Yulee/Jacksonville, Florida. My purpose and practice focuses on emotional and spiritual support and advocacy for those who are planning or facing their end-of-life journey. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ clients and chosen family, and who seek non-traditional planning or customized death ceremonies, and personalized rituals. Those who long for more than the preset practices or societal expectations of what death “should look like”, in memorial services and final wishes. I am passionate about providing comforting and affirming end of life services, but also transmuting death anxiety into open dialogue, conscious decision-making, curiosity in discuss, and acceptance about mortality. I am extremely passionate about connecting community support, resources, and engagement-as a part of the dying process. My goal is making sure the mind, body, and soul are harmonious and content at end-of-life.
