End of life doula support entails being grounded for clients, companionship, compassionate support, insight, presence to clients and their families enduring through an an already difficult and often painful process. As a medical provider, I am uniquely positioned to provide clarity and perspective where there is often ambiguity and uncertainty in a patient’s informed decision-making. I am dual minored in sociology and religion which have provided me a basic understanding and respect for diverse faiths, traditions and cultural beliefs, integrated particularly during the end of life.
