Shelby Kirillin, RN, BSN is an INELDA certified end of life doula. She is the founder and president of A Peaceful Passing in Richmond, VA where she has been a practicing end of life doula/coach since 2015. She has been an educator/trainer with the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA) since 2017. Shelby believes that dying isn’t a medical experience, but rather a sacred and special time in our lives that should be treated with such care. With the right preparation and open communication, she believes that dying can, and should be, a beautiful ending to the wonderful chapters we write.

She is a founding board member of the Virginia End of Life Doula Collective and on the development team for the RVA Death Collaborative. She believes that death care is community care and works to bring people together to support one another
