About
Beacon of Hope was born from my deeply personal experience of being at my grandmother’s bedside for many long hours, witnessing firsthand the comfort a steady, compassionate presence can bring during life’s most challenging moments. My years working alongside hospice reinforced this commitment, teaching me the profound impact of gentle support. Yet, I carry the regret of not being there for my mother when she passed in a nursing home—a reminder of how important it is to be present and intentional in those final stages.
As a Certified End-of-Life Doula with LifeSpan Doulas and a proud member of the National End-of-Life Doula Association (NEDA), I am here to walk alongside you with empathy, respect, and understanding during this profound journey. Informed by my Christian worldview, I am committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and individualized support to all people, regardless of faith or spiritual beliefs. My focus is on honoring your unique needs and preferences by creating a safe, supportive space for you and your loved ones.
My dedication to compassionate care is rooted in a lifelong commitment to human services. Holding a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, I bring extensive experience supporting individuals and families through challenging times. In addition to my professional roles, I have volunteered extensively with individuals facing end-of-life challenges, including those living with HIV/AIDS, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease.
