About

Beacon of Hope was born from deeply personal experiences at the bedside of loved ones, where I witnessed both the profound comfort of a compassionate presence and the lasting impact of its absence. Sitting with my grandmother in her final hours showed me how meaningful it is to simply be present, while the loss of my father—sudden and unexpected—and my mother’s later passing in a nursing home, where I was not able to be there, shaped my commitment to ensuring others do not walk this path alone. These experiences continue to guide my work with intention, empathy, and care.

I am a Certified End-of-Life Doula through LifeSpan Doulas, with additional training through the University of Vermont’s End-of-Life Doula Professional Certificate program, and I am a member of both the National End-of-Life Doula Association (NEDA) and the International End-of-Life Doula Association (INELDA). My work is grounded in ethical, compassionate care that honors dignity, inclusion, and the unique needs of each individual and family.

With a Bachelor of Science in Human Services (Counseling Concentration) and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management, I bring a strong foundation in communication, emotional support, and navigating complex family and care dynamics. Rooted in my Christian faith, I serve individuals of all beliefs with respect and without judgment, offering a calm, steady presence and personalized support during life’s final chapter.
