Hello, beautiful humans,

My name is Angel Mia, and I am a Colorado-based end-of-life death doula, certified since 2022 and NEDA Proficient since 2026!

My path to this work is both professional and deeply personal. Through experiences with grief, loss, trauma, and profound love, I came to understand that what people often need most is not answers; they need presence. They need someone willing to sit beside them in uncertainty, honor their story, and remind them they do not have to walk this path alone.

I provide compassionate, trauma-informed support to individuals and families navigating the emotional, practical, and spiritual aspects of dying, death, and grief. Whether you are preparing for the end of life, supporting someone you love, or learning to carry a loss that has forever changed you, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, heard, and genuinely cared for.

My background includes crisis intervention, suicide prevention, mental health advocacy, and grief support. I have volunteered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the National Alliance on Mental Illness and remain connected to these communities through advocacy, education, and local events. I am also actively involved in Denver’s death-positive community, supporting conversations that encourage greater understanding and compassion around death and dying.

I do not believe grief needs to be fixed. I believe it deserves to be witnessed. My role is not to take away your fear, sorrow, or uncertainty; it is to help ensure you do not carry them alone.

As a mother of two, I bring both lived empathy and steadiness to this work. It is an honor to walk alongside individuals and families during one of life’s most tender transitions.
