I have been an end-of-life doula volunteer for my local non-profit hospice organization since 2023. Holding sacred space for those transitioning from their physical body came as a natural offering to me after attending to several family and friends as they walked the path of the dying. My intention is to honor each individual’s wishes as well as create a safe haven for their loved ones. I find it the highest privilege to accompany someone as they approach the threshold of their soul’s next journey.
