Echo Yeoman
About
Echo is a Licensed Practical Nurse with over 25 years of experience in healthcare, and an Advanced Course Certified Death Doula through The Deathwives. Serving the Greater Mankato area and Southern Minnesota, Echo offers grounded, non-medical, compassionate end of life support that bridges clinical knowledge with holistic, nature centered care.
Years of bedside care during life’s most vulnerable seasons revealed both the tender humanity of dying and the limitations of congregate care. These experiences now guide Echo’s commitment to offering individualized, relationship centered support that honors dignity, autonomy, and the deeply personal nature of the end of life journey.
Echo supports individuals and their loved ones through education, thoughtful pre planning, advance directives, legacy and memory projects, bedside vigil presence, after death care, and memorial guidance. Her approach centers on clarity, intention, and purposeful presence, ensuring each person’s values and wishes are honored.
In addition to nursing, Echo holds an Associate’s Degree in Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy from the American College of Healthcare Sciences and integrates complementary practices to support emotional, environmental, and spiritual wellbeing. Through mindful moments, connection with nature, and gentle ritual, she helps create space for meaning, remembrance, and peace.
As one of few doulas serving Southern Minnesota outside the Twin Cities, Echo is deeply committed to increasing access to compassionate end of life care in rural and underserved communities. Her work is rooted in respect for life’s natural cycles and a belief that every person deserves a supported, dignified transition.
Echo honors the quiet power of presence and the sacred transition from life to death.
