We’re pleased to share the next phase of NEDA Reimagines End-of-Life Doula Care—an innovative, first-of-its-kind initiative from NEDA and Reimagine created to support and sustain the work of end-of-life doulas (EOLDs).
This program was created in response to something we kept hearing: we need more spaces to process grief, explore meaning, and connect with others doing this work.
By combining our missions, NEDA and Reimagine provide EOLDs with the space to navigate grief, nurture resilience, and deepen their capacity for compassionate presence. Are you ready to find meaning and connection through your journey as a NEDA member?
Not a NEDA member yet? Complete a membership application here (doula level or higher), then return to this page to join the program.
Discover Growth, Connection, and Resilience
NEDA Reimagines End-of-Life Doula Care a 10-session transformative experience designed to support participants as they process grief, explore their emotional landscape, and build lasting connections within a compassionate community.
In this program, you’ll engage in reflective practices, authentic group conversations, and create a personal “Growth Project” inspired by your experiences and values. Together, we’ll explore concepts like Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG), practice emotional awareness, and foster meaningful connections through live Zoom sessions and Reimagine’s innovative social journaling platform.
Shared Experiences with Lasting Impact
Hear past participants reflect on their experiences.
- “This program gave me more than tools or insight—it gave me community, courage, and clarity. I now understand more deeply who I am, what I carry, and what I hope to bring to the world through this work.”
- “Death work is such a powerful and evolving space, and I’ve felt the shift happening: the old Western narratives around death are beginning to change. I was yearning for connection—with like-minded people who also want to reimagine how we approach end of life, grief, and legacy.”
- Twelve weeks later, I sit here in awe of what’s unfolded. I bared my soul in front of seven strangers—who quickly became friends—and they did the same. Week after week, we created a brave, judgment-free space filled with honesty, tears, laughter, and profound insight. I’ve never experienced this level of healing, connection, or self-love in a group setting.

- “We spend so much time helping others that we don’t always stop to be present with the emotions that we are feeling. The experience of this course taught me how to slow down and do what is needed to continually heal and nurture myself.”
